Manifesto.

We’re tired. We’re tired of glass ceilings. We’re tired of not being included. And we’re tired of always having to prove ourselves.

It’s rough navigating the world as a woman. There are so many spaces in our lives that hinder our growth and potential, even the ones we choose to have fun in!

FIGHT/HER was born out of a vision to connect women practicing martial arts - women of all levels, irrelevant of other factors at hand.

It’s a simple mission statement with the purpose of tackling complex and deep-rooted issues within the martial arts communities. While we do our part to dismantle what does not foster equality, we create structures for the things that do. In collaboration with professional athletes and other notable community members, we provide workshops, seminars, mentorship, and, most importantly, support systems... just to name some things on our agenda.

What we wish to change, build, and nurture is based on our values of inclusion, education, equality, collaboration, and posterity. At the heart of it all is our community - people like you, that love training and want to be part of a network of badass women. Nobody said it was going to be easy, but together, we can find solutions and overcome the obstacles we face.

Because, when it comes to martial arts, we didn’t just get here - we’re more than capable. We’re women. And we belong here! You belong. It’s time to make the world see it too.

What we want to achieve

  • Organize workshops, training/sparring sessions, and retreats to level up skills and network with others from the community.

  • Produce quality educational training content and web3 101 content for our community.

  • Organize cohorts to mentor novice/amateur fighters to help fighters achieve their career goals.

  • Help gym owners, fight brand business owners, and content creators to get more exposure and further their initiatives. A win for the community is a win for us.

  • Educate the community on topics like inequality, eating disorders, abuse, misogyny, and other issues that are prevalent in the combat sports community.

  • Be part of important discussions involving women in combat sports, including rankings and policies.

  • We have an ambitious goal to bring 1 MILLION people into web3 and introduce them to the world of blockchain technology.
